The PGA
Exchange is a major initiative of The Professional Golfers Association
of America whose mission is to improve the efficiency and
effectiveness of their members – PGA Professionals and their
suppliers. The PGA Exchange has been integrated into PGA Programs
including continuous online and offline training, Network PGA
marketing and advertising and PGA Expo Seminars and Educational
Series.
The PGA
Exchange also allows golf industry suppliers to achieve excellent
value and ROI resulting from effective marketing to the 10,000 plus
retail locations and the use of an efficient comprehensive catalog and
sales order and reporting system allowing them to take advantage of
the many efficiencies offered by the Internet.
PGA
Professionals provide product knowledge and are able to demo products
to customers in effect acting as suppliers' showrooms to golfers. PGA
Professionals are the largest customer group to suppliers,
representing a major percentage of total golf sales in the USA, yet
many suppliers are unable to efficiently reach, conduct business with
and/or service this large nationwide group. The PGA Exchange solves
this problem. PGA Exchange can be used by suppliers to market to,
communicate with and sell to this large group of golf retailers.
